Hello guys I'm trilled that I'm back. I'm so sorry I kept you waiting, hope you will forgive me. Ok,  welcome to 'SPIRIT DRUMMER PART 3'. In case you missed part 1 and part 2 you can read it in my previous posts. Let's begin.
I promised to answer some questions in Part two. They are
1. Who is a Spirit Drummer
2. Ways of becoming a spirit drummer.
3. Advantages of becoming a spirit drummer.
4. Disadvantages of not being a spirit drummer.
Let me start answering the questions.
                             
                                              WHO IS A SPIRIT DRUMMER
A spirit drummer is a drummer orchestrated by the spirit, not his brains, not his skills, not his flexibility, not his strokes, not his strengths but his spirit. Spirit is breath. He is not seen but felt, He flows through every human like oxygen flows through a human but the spirit is controlled by the owner(the drummer). Either you use him well or discard him or let him just flow through you without making any impact. He also referred to as the heart. So a spirit drummer is a drummer that allows his spirit or his heart control the movement of his hands, his legs, and the movement of his thoughts.
                         
                                   WAYS OF BECOMING A SPIRIT DRUMMER

There are 6 ways of becoming a  spirit drummer. I call them 'Rules'. These rules will make you take a huge step of becoming a spirit as they have helped me.

1. More of heart drumming and less head drumming:
Heart drumming is not less intelligent drumming. It is not less flexible, energetic, and skillful drumming. But it is being the carrier and the controller of the spirit of the song. Every song has a spirit. Every song has a wave. Every song has a feeling. You can't use hip hop wave in a classical song or classical feeling. Detect the feeling and the spirit and using your heart and control the wave.

2: Instincts do the bulk of the Work:  Instinctive is a spirit drumming. It is being orchestrated by the spirit. It is knowing what to do at the right time. In a twinkle of an eye.  It is making split second decisions when playing the drum. Instincts has a 95 percent accurate level.  Let me ask a question. Do you wonder  why drummers sometimes play what not in the music staff in a split second and still come back, especially when the song is on a very high wave. A Spirit Drummer controls his instincts even when it happens in a split second.  Instincts are started by the spirit but is controlled by the spirit drummer.

Alright guys I would have to pause here. In my next part I will complete the six and answer the rest of the questions. Remember drums are played with the heart (spirit)  not with the head..............

                                               THE SPIRIT DRUMMER PART 2

Hello Guys, I've missed you guys. I know you have been waiting for this time to come. This is the appointed time of deep knowledge. First of all  the term 'Spirit Drummer' is made up of two words, Spirit and Drummer. I don't want to go too supernatural but I would have to define the word 'spirit'. To the best of my physical knowledge........... Ok, Let me go there I can't help it . The word Spirit is the third person in the triune human being, namely is the body, the soul and the spirit. The spirit is the unseen supernatural body that dwells in in a physical body to operate on earth. The spirit man is the real man. he is the instinct of man , he connects the physical or natural world to the the supernatural world. Sometimes he is referred to the heart. Every musical instrument has a spirit behind it that controls the player of the instrument. He might be a good or bad spirit. The spirit controls the flow and the meaning of drums in the audience's ears. Without the spirit of the drums the drums will be a noisy piece of metals and plastic. Ok.... let me define a drummer. A drummer is someone that plays drums.  Simple right???? Let me tell one truth, not all people that play drums are drummer but all drummers play the drums. Playing drums is the movement of the sticks on the hands and using the legs on the drums so that it will sound pleasing to the ear. Now I have defined these two words. Wow I'm sorry I would have to stop here for now. To wet your Appetite, in subsequent parts I will define ' A spirit drummer', Ways of becoming a spirit drummer,advantages of becoming a spirit drummer and disadvantages of not becoming a spirit drummer. This is the foundation of drumming. You can't know all the rudiments,strokes, pedaling and skills without becoming the spirit drummer because the spirit controls everything and gives the best results. See you Guys in my next part.

              The Spirit Drummer 

One day I was working through the streets of my hometown, rejected and with my drumsticks. I was so bad in drums that I was always removed on the drums I was playing on before the song finished.I wanted to stop drumming and face my academic life, Until I met my friend James. He asked me this question 'why are you looking bad?'. I answered accordingly. He now made a statement which struck my mind
"You don't know that you are a spirit drummer". Wowwww I was astonished. I started researching what a spirit drummer is. After this I became so good that I was playing for full concerts,playing for churches, and playing contract drumming This is what i want to share with you guys. In this package you will know
